Weekly Preview 4/18-4/21


6th GOAL: This week, students will be presenting their Westward Expansion projects to the class. I can't wait to see what they've learned!

7th GOAL: This week, students will be filming their stop-motion animated movies. They've been working hard on sets and storyboards, and they're ready for the real fun to begin!

8th GOAL: This week, students will be working on compiling their research for their documentaries. They'll be setting up and filming interviews, organizing research, and starting to write their storyboards.

7th Language Arts: This week, students will finish finding folklore examples in The Princess Bride. They will then start writing their own fractured fairy tales, using the elements of folklore. Spelling for this week focuses on the Latin forms of miss, manus, fluere, and animus. Pretest corrections and book page 178 (1-20) are due Wednesday. The posttest will be on Thursday this week due to no school on Friday.
